A search operation is underway in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir following an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces on August 28, officials said. The search was launched around 9:30 pm in the general area of village Kheri Mohra Lathi and Danthal.
During the operation, security forces established contact with the terrorists at approximately 11:45 pm, leading to an exchange of gunfire near the Kheri Mohra area, according to the Jammu and Kashmir police. Details about the encounter were still forthcoming.
