CRPF Personnel Commits Suicide in Chhattisgarh Amid Rising Incidents
A 44-year-old CRPF personnel, Vipul Bhuyan, allegedly committed suicide using his service weapon in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district. Bhuyan, a native of Assam, had just resumed duty after leave. This marks the fifth such incident involving paramilitary personnel in the last three months in the state.

A 44-year-old CRPF personnel allegedly took his own life with his service weapon in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district on Saturday, according to local police.
The incident took place in the morning at a camp of the CRPF's 226th battalion in Gadiras. Head constable Vipul Bhuyan reportedly shot himself with an AK-47 rifle inside the bathroom, where colleagues later found him in a pool of blood.
Bhuyan, originally from Assam, had just returned to duty after taking leave two days prior. No suicide note was discovered, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the reasons behind his drastic action. This is the fifth suicide involving paramilitary personnel in Chhattisgarh over the past three months.
