Indo-Canadian singer AP Dhillon reassured fans of his safety following reports of gunfire outside his Vancouver residence on Tuesday. The 'Brown Munde' singer took to Instagram Story to thank his supporters, though he refrained from divulging specific details about the incident.

'I'm safe. My people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out. Your support means everything,' Dhillon wrote, adding a folded hands emoji. AP Dhillon gained fame with his 2020 hit 'Brown Munde' and is known for tracks such as 'Excuses,' 'With You,' 'Toxic,' 'Tere Te,' 'Spaceship,' 'Insane,' and 'True Stories.'

Dhillon recently collaborated with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on the song 'Old Money,' featuring in the music video alongside Khan. In a related incident, two men fired shots outside Salman Khan's Mumbai residence in April, leading to multiple arrests and the invocation of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act.

On June 4, a special team, including a Crime Branch officer, visited Khan's home to record statements. Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz were questioned for a total of six hours. Salman revealed that he was awoken by the sound of a bullet hitting his balcony. Six arrests have been made in connection with the case thus far. (ANI)
