In a touching message to the nation, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel stationed at the frontier assured citizens of their safety and extended heartfelt New Year greetings. Highlighting their deep commitment, the personnel described the BSF and the country as their family, proudly safeguarding the nation's borders while serving its people.

Speaking to ANI, a BSF member expressed, "I want to tell the countrymen they are secure in their homes with us guarding the border. I extend New Year greetings to the entire nation. The BSF and the country are my family, and I am honored to serve here."

Addressing the challenges faced during border duty, especially in the winter, another personnel shared the difficulties of their task, citing freezing temperatures, fog, and frost. "We're vigilant, steadfastly stationed to protect the nation's frontiers," she remarked, extending New Year wishes to fellow citizens, and highlighting active patrolling by women personnel in Jammu and RS Pura sector.

The personnel reiterated their steadfast commitment amid adversity, such as harsh weather. "Whether it's extreme cold or any difficulty, for 365 days a year, round the clock, we stay dedicated to our mission, protecting the borders." Enhanced security measures have been implemented on New Year's Eve, with the BSF increasing vigilance along the international border.
