Antim Panghal, a bronze medallist at the World Championships, and Aman Sehrawat, known for his immense talent, have been seeded fourth and sixth respectively in their weight categories for the Paris Olympics. This seeding advantage is expected to help them avoid tough competitors in the early rounds of the wrestling events.

Commencing on August 5 and concluding on August 11, the wrestling competition will feature seeds for the first time, determined by performances at the 2023 World Championships, 2024 Continental Championships, and Ranking Series events in Zagreb and Budapest.

While Antim Panghal can steer clear of formidable Japanese contender Akari Fujinami and China's Tokyo 2020 silver medallist Qianyu Pang until the medal rounds, Aman's path might involve facing top wrestlers like Japan's Rei Higuchi or Armenia's Arsen Harutyunyan before the final stages. Additionally, prominent Indian wrestlers like Vinesh Phogat, Anshu Malik, Nisha Dahiya, and Reetika Hooda will also be competing.
