New Zealand has appointed former pacer Jacob Oram as their bowling coach ahead of their three-Test series against India, a pivotal event in the World Test Championship cycle.

Oram, who takes charge on October 7, brings significant experience, having played in multiple Cricket and T20 World Cups. He joins a team led by head coach Gary Stead.

The series kicks off in Bengaluru on October 16, with subsequent matches in Pune and Mumbai. Oram, previously serving as bowling coach during the recent T20 World Cup in the Americas, will be pivotal in New Zealand's quest for a World Test Championship final berth.
