Four-time Congress MLA from Alwar's Ramgarh, Zubair Khan, passed away on Saturday morning. He was 62 and had been unwell for some time. His wife, Shafia Zubair, confirmed that he died at 5.50 am. Khan's funeral will be held in Ramgarh, Alwar, this evening. His death reduces the number of Congress MLAs to 65 in the assembly.

Four-time Congress MLA from Alwar's Ramgarh seat, Zubair Khan, passed away in Alwar on Saturday morning. He was 62 and had been ill for some time.

Confirmed by his wife Shafia Zubair, Khan breathed his last at 5.50 am. His funeral ('janazah') will take place in Ramgarh, Alwar, this evening.

Governor Haribhau Bagade, Chief Minister Bhajanalal Sharma, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, PCC chief Govind Dotasra, former chief minister Ashok Gehlot, former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot, and several other leaders have expressed their condolences over Khan's demise. The number of Congress MLAs in the assembly has now reduced to 65, with seven seats vacant in the 200-member house.
