A tragic accident in Thane, Maharashtra, has claimed the life of a 17-year-old boy after the ceiling plaster of a second-floor flat in a four-storey building collapsed.
The incident, which occurred at approximately 8 pm on Saturday in the Kharivali area of Bhiwandi, saw the plaster suddenly fall, causing severe injuries to the boy who later died, according to local authorities.
The victim's body has been sent to IGM Government Hospital for postmortem, and a case of accidental death has been registered by Bhoiwada police station, officials confirmed.
