Multiple Fatal Accidents in Mumbai: Rash Driving Under Scrutiny
Three people died and many were injured in a collision in Chembur, while a separate accident in Aarey Colony claimed three lives. Police investigate rash driving as the cause. An earlier incident in Versova Beach led to the arrest of two in connection with a fatal accident.

Three individuals lost their lives and several others sustained injuries after a speeding car collided with a divider and a tanker in Chembur's Gavanpada area, according to police reports. The accident, attributed to rash driving, occurred at 2 PM on Sunday.
The victims were identified as Pramod Shankar Prasad (25), Harichandan Dillip Das (23), and Hussain Sheikh (40). The injured, driver Javed Saifula Khan (30), Manoj Mani (30), and Sanjay Sukhar Singh (39), are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital, officials confirmed.
In another tragic incident in Mumbai's Aarey Colony, three individuals died after their motorcycle struck a pole near Munda Chowk, police reported. Two victims died on the spot, and a third succumbed to injuries at the hospital. The Aarey Police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the incident.
Previously on August 14, a 36-year-old rickshaw driver, Ganesh Yadav, was fatally struck by a car while sleeping on Versova Beach. Another person, Bablu Srivastava, was injured. Police subsequently arrested Nikhil Jawale (34) and Shubham Dongre (33) on charges of culpable homicide. The Andheri court ordered them held in police custody for five days.
