In a sharp political critique, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress party of devising strategies to weaken the unity of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), potentially undermining their reservation benefits. Addressing BJP workers through the NaMo app in Jharkhand, Modi called for unification among these communities.
Modi alleged that the Congress's historical opposition to reservations continues, as their objective is to divide these groups into smaller castes, reducing their collective power and influence. He highlighted previous Congress leadership's antagonism toward reservation policies and emphasized the impact community solidarity has had on Congress's diminished political dominance.
The Prime Minister further criticized the ruling Joint Development Authority (JMM)-Congress-RJD coalition in Jharkhand, blaming them for corruption and mismanagement. As the state heads to assembly polls, Modi promised that BJP's inclusive approach would bring transformative development.
