Maharashtra's political landscape intensified as BJP leader Girish Mahajan stressed the need to reestablish the Mahayuti government to sustain welfare initiatives. After filing nominations from the Jamner Assembly constituency, the seasoned six-term MLA expressed confidence in an unprecedented win. Highlighting a surge in supporter turnout, Mahajan projected a massive lead, signaling increased backing from his party's base. With a history of robust leadership, his candidacy aims to maintain momentum in the pivotal electoral battle.

The Maharashtra Assembly elections reflect significant engagement, with 10,905 nomination papers filed, representing 7,995 candidates across 288 constituencies. Slated for November 20, these elections will see votes counted on November 23. The electoral process followed its schedule, with the last date for nominations on Tuesday and withdrawal permissible by November 4, amid a vigilant enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct.
