Najib Razak Ordered to Defend 1MDB Corruption Charges

Accused of misappropriating funds from the controversial 1MDB state investment fund, Najib faces multiple charges, including abuse of power and money laundering.
Investigations reveal that over USD 4.5 billion was misappropriated, with notable transactions reportedly benefitting Najib. Evidence contradicts his assertion that the funds were merely a donation from the Saudi royal family, exposing his direct involvement in the fund's financial misappropriations.
As the trial resumes on December 2, Najib, who maintains his innocence, prepares to testify under oath. The scandal has already led to his political downfall and sparked a broad array of legal challenges.
