The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is set to launch its latest campaign, 'AAP ka vidhayak, aap ke dwaar,' starting September 1. This initiative comes as the party ramps up its efforts for the Delhi Assembly elections due early next year.
Following a strategy meeting, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak stated that the campaign's intensity would increase in the coming days. He noted the positive public response to Manish Sisodia's padyatras, indicating a strong grassroot support for the party.
Pathak revealed that the campaign will also target what he called conspiracies by the BJP against Delhi residents. Meanwhile, discussions on forming an alliance with the Congress were reportedly absent from the meeting. The AAP, buoyed by Sisodia's recent release from jail, is keen to reclaim power in Delhi, where it previously won 67 and 62 seats in the 2015 and 2020 elections respectively.
