Tragic Incident: Seven-Year-Old Girl Alleges Rape in Rajasthan

A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her landlord's son in Rajasthan's Bundi city, police reported on Friday.
According to officials, teams have been mobilized to apprehend the 24-year-old suspect who fled the scene. The assault, which occurred in the city's Bypass Road area on Wednesday, only came to light when the girl's parents noticed her distress the following day. Bundi Superintendent of Police (SP) (City) Hanuman Prasad Meena stated that the parents observed their daughter's discomfort during urination and blood stains around her private parts, prompting them to approach the Bundi district Child Welfare Committee on Friday morning. Subsequently, Committee Chairperson Seema Poddhar notified the police about the incident.
A rape case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita has been filed against the accused, as confirmed by the SP.
