Champai Soren Denies Speculations of Joining BJP Amidst Assembly Elections
JMM leader and former Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren refutes rumors of him joining the BJP, ahead of the Jharkhand assembly elections. Soren clarified that his meeting with ex-JMM MLA Lobin Hembrom, who's allegedly in touch with BJP leaders, was purely routine and not politically motivated.

JMM leader and former Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren said on Saturday that he is not aware of the speculations regarding him joining the BJP.
Media reports surfaced on Friday suggesting that Soren might align with the BJP ahead of the Jharkhand assembly elections. However, Soren dismissed these speculations, asserting, "I don't know anything about such speculations and reports... I am where I am..."
Soren also revealed that his recent meeting with former JMM legislator Lobin Hembrom was a routine affair and not connected to any political maneuvers. Hembrom, who has been in contact with BJP leaders, was disqualified as a JMM MLA under the anti-defection law.
