The three-member Congress screening committee, led by chairman Girish Chodankar, announced on Sunday that the party is actively preparing for all 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand.

Arriving in Ranchi on Saturday, the committee reviewed election preparations. The party has invited applications from potential candidates, receiving 50 to 100 submissions from each assembly segment.

Chodankar emphasized that winnability and party loyalty are crucial selection criteria. The committee will continue its efforts with district-level meetings and further discussions with top party leaders and local heads.
