India Urges Quick Return of Seized Guru Granth Sahib Copies from Qatar

India has prioritized addressing the issue of seizing Guru Granth Sahib copies by Qatari authorities. India has taken urgent measures to address the seizure of Guru Granth Sahib copies by Qatari authorities, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal reported on Friday.

Jaiswal assured that the Indian government has engaged with Qatar on the matter, with the Indian embassy in Doha keeping the Sikh community updated.

One copy of the holy book has been returned, and another is being properly looked after, he added, expressing hope for a quick resolution.
