Majumdar claimed that the people of West Bengal would seek the ouster of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee during Durga Puja.
Majumdar, who serves as Union MoS for Education, addressed a BJP rally in Siliguri, highlighting a corruption racket in the state's healthcare system. He accused TMC officials of involvement in a fake medicine scam and criticized Banerjee for inaction.
Reacting to Majumdar's allegations, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh dismissed the claims and accused the BJP of politicizing the tragedy. Ghosh affirmed that the state government was committed to justice for the deceased doctor and awaited the CBI investigation results.
