During his US visit, Rahul Gandhi criticized the BJP for the highest unemployment rates in 40 years, citing historical and data-driven evidence. Congress MP Pramod Tiwari reiterated Gandhi's statements, calling the unemployment issue a 'historical and geographical truth'.
Reacting to Giriraj Singh's defense of RSS, Tiwari highlighted former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's strong stance against RSS's communalism, accusing it of benefitting BJP at the cost of societal harmony. Tiwari asserted that the Congress has consistently opposed RSS's divisive ideologies.
Earlier, Giriraj Singh criticized Rahul Gandhi, suggesting he understands neither RSS nor Indian culture, and accused him of defaming India abroad. Gandhi, on the other hand, countered by stressing that RSS views India as a singular idea whereas Congress embraces a multiplicity of ideas, allowing for diverse dreams and participation regardless of caste, language, or religion.
