A tragic incident unfolded in Baragaon, Bisanda area, when a 40-year-old man named Anil Patel slipped into a well and lost consciousness, leading to his death.

Sandeep Verma (19) and Bala Verma (21) also fell unconscious and subsequently died while attempting to rescue Patel. Villagers alerted the police and administrative officials, who promptly arrived at the scene.

The victims were rushed to Medical College of Banda, where they were declared dead. Police suspect the presence of poisonous gas in the muddy well and are awaiting post-mortem reports to confirm the exact cause of death.
