YSRCP President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, expressed profound shock and grief over the tragic reactor explosion at Atchutapuram SEZ in Anakapalli district on Wednesday. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased.

YSRCP Chief urged the government to ensure the injured receive the best possible medical treatment and called for immediate steps to prevent such incidents in the future. He emphasized the need for stringent safety measures and comprehensive protocols to safeguard workers in factories.

The incident claimed three lives and injured 17 others. Additional SP Ankapalle, Deva Prasad, stated that the injured are receiving treatment in hospitals and the situation at the site is peaceful. Andhra Pradesh Labour Minister, Vasamsetti Subhash, reported that rescue teams are working, but dense smoke is hampering operations. Updates will be provided as they become available.
