Assam CM Sarma Condemns 'Appeasement Politics' in Jharkhand After Policeman's Murder
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma criticized the JMM-led Jharkhand government for alleged 'appeasement politics' following the murder of policemen Chouhan Hembram by a convicted prisoner. Sarma met Hembram's family, accusing the administration of inaction. Meanwhile, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren assured a government job and financial aid to the deceased’s family.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has accused the JMM-led Jharkhand government of engaging in 'appeasement politics' following the brutal murder of Jharkhand Police personnel Chouhan Hembram by a convicted prisoner.
Sarma, who is also the election co-incharge for the BJP in Jharkhand, visited Bengabad in Giridih district to meet Hembram's family and criticized local legislators for their absence during the family's time of need.
Sarma urged the Jharkhand administration to arrest the absconding prisoner and ensure justice for Hembram's family, while Hembram's family also met with Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, who promised a government job and financial compensation.
