Former UK defence secretaries and ex-Prime Minister Boris Johnson have called on Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer to permit Ukraine to use long-range missiles within Russian territory, as per a Sunday Times report.

The push comes with a warning that delays will embolden Russian President Vladimir Putin, and follows months of pleas from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy for Western missile support.

In a recent meeting in Washington, Starmer and U.S. President Joe Biden discussed the matter but reached no definitive decision. Some US officials remain skeptical about the potential impact of such a move in Ukraine's conflict with Russia.
