Former Minister and ruling LDF MLA K T Jaleel has announced his departure from electoral politics. The seasoned politician, who represents Thavanur constituency, broke the news on Facebook, stating his resolve to expose corrupt officials.
Jaleel declared he would no longer vie for power positions, expressing deep commitment to CPI(M). While he did not specify reasons for his exit, he affirmed his intention to reveal corruption through a new portal, elaborated in 'Swargasthanaya Gandhiji', set for release on October 2.
Jaleel, a one-time IUML member turned leftist, had a storied career, including a stint as Higher Education Minister, from which he resigned amid nepotism allegations. He also highlighted points against corrupt officials in a police force speech.
