Authorities in Siddipet town are investigating an incident involving alleged Congress party workers who forcibly entered BRS leader T Harish Rao's camp office and tore down a banner demanding his resignation.
While Harish Rao and BRS Working President K T Rama Rao termed the incident as vandalism, police clarified that only a banner was damaged and no significant property harm was reported. Four individuals have been detained following a complaint from BRS leaders.
In another development, the Telangana government has implemented the final phase of a crop loan waiver scheme, benefiting over 4.46 lakh farmers. This move aligns with a promise made by opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, while speaking at a public meeting, dared Harish Rao to resign, citing the fulfillment of this promise, further intensifying the political friction.
