Lokesh toured the severely impacted Ratnalcheruvu area in Mangalagiri town and interacted with affected residents, assuring them of the government's support.
In Palnadu district, heavy rainfall has caused the Pulichintala dam to overflow. Earlier meetings conducted by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the need for vigilance, declaring holidays for schools in affected areas, and installing warning boards near dangerous water bodies.
Authorities have been instructed to remain on high alert and ensure that all possible assistance is provided to those affected by the heavy rains. The Chief Minister has also directed that emergency alerts be sent to residents' mobile phones in rain-impacted areas to prevent accidents and ensure their safety.
