Kunal Sarangi, former BJP leader in Jharkhand, has openly criticized the party leadership, alleging that the BJP operates like a multinational company requiring robotic obedience to its headquarters' diktats.

According to Sarangi, who resigned on July 7, the BJP no longer values committed workers or differences in opinion. He likened his experience to being treated on par with individuals accused of serious crimes, sparking his decision to leave the party he joined in 2019.

Sarangi, a former JMM MLA, added that his tenure with the BJP was marred by internal conflicts and personal attacks. He cited a specific instance of humiliation during the Lok Sabha election campaign and disagreements with directives to attack Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, whom Sarangi credits for his political career.
