Leopard Captured Near Residential Area, To Be Released Soon
A leopard was trapped in a cage by the forest department near a residential area, avoiding potential man-animal conflict. It was found near Jauhar University and will soon be released as per orders.

A leopard was successfully trapped in a cage set up by the forest department near a residential area on Sunday, officials confirmed.
According to forest officials, the leopard had been spotted several times in villages close to Jauhar University in recent days.
To prevent any potential man-animal conflict, the forest department placed cages near the area, resulting in the capture of the healthy adult female leopard on Sunday. 'The leopard, over a year old, was trapped near Alia Nagar village,' said Rajiv Kumar, the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO). 'Senior officials have been informed, and the animal will be released as per their orders.'
