A 22-year-old man was arrested by police at the Rango checkpost in Sikkim after drugs, bullets, and an unlicensed pistol were discovered in his possession, officials reported on Thursday.
The arrest took place during routine checks at the Rango checkpost on the Sikkim-West Bengal border on Wednesday night. The man is a resident of Kishanganj in Bihar.
A case has been filed against the accused under the Sikkim Anti-Drugs Act and Arms Act, with further investigations underway, the officer stated.
