A 25-year-old man from Bihar has gone missing after losing balance while washing his hands near the confluence of the Damodar and Bhairavi rivers in Ramgarh district, police reported on Monday.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening, according to Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Parmeshwar Prasad.

The missing individual, identified as Kaushal Kumar, was part of a group of approximately 15 devotees from Gaya district who had come to offer prayers at the Rajrappa temple.

"All efforts are underway to trace the man, but rescuers are facing difficulties as the Bhairavi river flows through hard rocks," Prasad stated.
