The governor of Russia's Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced on Tuesday that the situation on the border with Ukraine remains challenging but is under control. He communicated this via the Telegram messenger app.
Gladkov mentioned that there are ongoing reports of the enemy attempting to breach the Belgorod region's border. However, he assured that the military is conducting its planned operations and urged citizens to stay calm and rely on official sources of information.
Earlier, Russian Telegram channels with connections to the security services had claimed that Ukrainian troops attacked the border. Despite these reports, there has been no immediate official confirmation of such incidents.
