Army Neutralizes Rusted Landmine Along LoC
A rusted landmine was defused by the army in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district near the LoC. Spotted by an army patrol in a forward village in Balakote, a bomb disposal squad was called in and destroyed it safely.

The Indian Army successfully defused a rusted landmine along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, officials announced on Monday.
The hazardous device was discovered by an army patrol in a forward village near the border fence in the Balakote sector.
Experts from a bomb disposal squad were promptly called upon to safely neutralize the threat, executing a controlled explosion without incident.
