Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday launched a scathing attack on his rival, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, likening him to Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. He criticized the state's law-and-order situation and the alleged pervasive drug menace under the YSRCP's previous regime.

Naidu released a white paper detailing alarming statistics, claiming the state's condition under Reddy was unparalleled. He accused the former administration of operating like a narco-terrorist gang, likening its practices to the notorious Medellin Cartel founded by Escobar.

Among numerous allegations, Naidu highlighted the misuse of police for political vendettas, widespread crimes against women and minorities, and a deeply ingrained drug culture. The CM vowed sweeping changes, promising stricter law enforcement and innovative measures to restore order. YSRCP leaders have remained silent on Naidu's charges.
