This critical trauma care cube, developed under Project BHISHM, supports humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts, highlighting the military's advanced capabilities and joint operational efficiency.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Army have jointly completed a groundbreaking para-drop operation of the Aarogya Maitri Health Cube at an altitude of around 15,000 feet, according to a statement from the defence ministry on Saturday.

Developed indigenously under Project BHISHM, these critical trauma care cubes are instrumental in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of delivering essential supplies to disaster-stricken areas as part of humanitarian aid and disaster relief (HADR).

Using the advanced C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft, the IAF facilitated the precise para-drop, while the Indian Army's Para Brigade demonstrated its operational prowess with precision drop equipment. This operation underscores the military's capability to support HADR missions in remote mountainous regions and exemplifies the effective synergy between the armed forces.
