YS Jaganmohan Reddy Criticizes Government Over Tragic Food Poisoning Incident

YSRCP Chief and former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy expressed shock and sorrow over a tragic incident at Kailasapatnam in Kotavuratla Mandal of Anakapalli District, where three students died after consuming adulterated food. Reddy demanded that authorities provide top medical facilities to the affected students and immediate support to the families of the deceased. He criticized the government's negligence, highlighting gaps in the existing monitoring systems.
"The government should focus on improving the system and taking preventive measures to prevent such incidents instead of spreading false propaganda and engaging in mudslinging," Reddy stated. He urged the government to implement preventive steps to avoid future occurrences of such incidents.
The tragedy took place at a hostel run by the Aradhana trust in Kailasa Patnam, resulting in three children dead and 37 others being treated in hospitals across Anakapalli and Visakhapatnam districts, according to Anakapalli Collector Vijaya Krishnan. Reddy's statement emphasized the need for accountability and improved supervision to prevent future tragic incidents.
