Tragic Incident: Minor Girl Assaulted in Southwest Delhi

Upon receiving the report, authorities promptly sent the girl for a medical examination and counseling in the presence of her parents. A case was filed under section 65 (2) (rape of minor) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The boy was apprehended and sent to an observation home. The police added that the suspect is the son of the complainant's friend and a neighbor. Further investigations are ongoing.
