In a dramatic rescue on Thursday evening, a seven-year-old boy from Kalyan town, Maharashtra, narrowly escaped a potentially fatal accident, thanks to the swift actions of alert neighbors and the local fire department. Vandsh Landge, who was playing on a second-floor balcony grill, found himself dangling perilously when the structure gave way.
At the time of the incident, Lansh's parents were not at home. His urgent cries for help drew the attention of neighbors, who immediately rushed to the scene, holding onto the broken grill to avert disaster.
Soon after, fire brigade personnel arrived and successfully rescued the boy. Remarkably, Vansh emerged unscathed from the ordeal. 'It was a close call, but thanks to the neighbors' prompt action and the fire brigade's expertise, a major tragedy was averted,' stated a spokesperson from the fire department.
