BJP spokesperson Shaina NC extended her gratitude to the Central Government on Thursday for an impressive allocation of Rs. 1087 crore to the Mumbai Metro and Rs. 683 crore to the Nagpur Metro, bolstering infrastructure in Maharashtra.

In her statement to ANI, Shaina emphasized, "Maharashtra has garnered significant support in the Union budget, including Rs. 908 crores for MUTP-3, enhancing Mumbai's local railway network, along with Rs. 1087 crores for Mumbai Metro, Rs. 500 crores for the Mumbai-Delhi corridor, Rs. 150 crores for MMR green urban transport, and Rs. 814 crores for Pune Metro."

Addressing opposition protests, she remarked, "Critics should thoroughly read the budget instead of spreading misinformation. This comprehensive budget addresses infrastructure needs across all states."

Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav acknowledged the Central Government's allocation of Rs. 14,738 crores to improve the state's rail facilities. He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for their commitment. According to an official release, fund allocations will advance 80 railway station projects, benefiting the state's residents with improved amenities and stations.
