Another FIR Filed Against TV Journalist for Assault
Police have filed another FIR against TV journalist Avneesh Dixit for allegedly assaulting a police officer during his court hearing. With over 12 cases against him including charges of extortion and land grabbing, Dixit was initially arrested on July 29. The incident led to reopening several previously closed cases.

On Saturday, police registered another FIR against TV journalist Avneesh Dixit, who allegedly assaulted a police officer while being escorted out of a courtroom.
Currently facing over 12 cases for various crimes, including extortion and land grabbing, Dixit was initially arrested on July 29 for reportedly seizing government property in Kanpur.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Shrawan Kumar Singh stated that the altercation happened when Sub-Inspector Prem Prakash Mishra was leading Dixit out of the courtroom. The assault has led to the reopening of several previously closed cases against Dixit.
