Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has reiterated his administration's commitment to transforming cow-rearing into a profitable venture by promoting indigenous breeds. Speaking during a visit to Bull Mother Farm near Kerva dam, Yadav outlined the government's efforts to boost farmers' income and support cow-rearers.
Yadav underscored the importance of ensuring that no bovine animals remain on roads, especially during the monsoon season. He highlighted ongoing initiatives to enhance gaushalas and increase their capacity to house more cows.
The Chief Minister directed the formulation of a new scheme focused on the promotion of indigenous breeds, discussing associated subsidies and various central and state government programs aimed at supporting the sector.
