Taapsee Pannu's Unique Take on Nepotism in Bollywood
Amidst ongoing debates on nepotism in Bollywood, actor Taapsee Pannu shares a nuanced view, praising the unity among industry insiders while highlighting the insecurities faced by outsiders. Pannu's reflections offer a fresh perspective on the insider-outsider dynamics in tinsel town.
In the thick of the sustained debate over nepotism in Bollywood, actor Taapsee Pannu has presented a nuanced perspective, arguing that while influential families may dominate the industry, there are some positive aspects to their dynamics. Pannu, renowned for her candid views, shared her insights in an exclusive interview with ANI.
"One good thing about people who enter the industry through nepotism is their ability to support each other," Pannu said. She noted that this sense of unity is something outsiders often lack compared to those with family connections in the industry. Pannu elaborated on how this cohesive support system contrasts with the competitive nature among industry outsiders.
Pannu, who debuted in Hindi cinema with 'Chashme Baddoor' in 2013, spoke about how outsiders often feel insecure and competitive. In contrast, industry kids tend to stand by each other and recommend one another for roles. This unity, according to Pannu, is something from which outsiders could learn. Celebrated for her roles in 'Pink,' 'Thappad,' and 'Dunki,' Pannu continues to receive acclaim for her recent performances.
