In a recent statement, acclaimed actor Mohanlal asserted that he is not involved in any power groups within the Malayalam film industry, nor is he aware of their existence.
Discussing the industry's vast workforce and the limitations of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) in addressing all its issues, Mohanlal explained that his executive panel had resigned following allegations after the release of the Justice Hema Committee report.
This marks Mohanlal's first public media address since the release of the report, which unveiled harassment and exploitation cases. He emphasized that wrongdoers should face consequences if evidence is found against them and called the report's release a positive government move.
