Her statements, given to a Malayalam channel, came after the release of the Justice K Hema Committee report on harassment in the film industry, sparking intense reactions from various quarters, including RMP leader and MLA K K Rema. Radhika emphasized that this issue is not isolated to the Malayalam film industry but is prevalent across different sectors.
Radhika recounted her direct experiences, detailing how she saw actresses being filmed by hidden cameras while changing clothes in caravans. Expressing her frustration, she mentioned taking a strong stance against the practice to ensure her safety. She criticized the continued silence of male actors regarding these issues, suggesting that female actors are left to protect themselves.
