A horrific crime took place in Lucknow, where a 24-year-old man, Mohammad Arshad, allegedly murdered his four sisters and mother in a hotel room on the pretext of land-related harassment by local community members in Agra. Police swiftly arrested the accused following the revelation of the incident.

According to Lucknow's Deputy Commissioner of Police, Raveena Tyagi, the gruesome killings occurred at Hotel Sharanjeet, and forensic teams are currently collecting evidence from the crime scene. The deceased victims include sisters Alia, Alshia, Aksa, and Rahmeen, as well as their mother, Asma.

Arshad reportedly recorded a video confession, expressing hopelessness due to alleged oppression by locals attempting to confiscate his family's property.
