Director Ritesh S Kumar, who gained recognition for his web series 'Secrets of Love', has announced the release of his latest film 'Lachhminiya' in the first week of November. Kumar described the film release process as both fear-inducing and joyous. The film features actors Sagar Singh and Tanushree and is set against a Bihari backdrop.

Kumar, born on December 26, 1984, in Bihar's Lakhisarai district, has always been captivated by Bihar's unique social fabric and traditional customs. 'The background of Bihar has always been my first choice. The state's colorful and vibrant culture, traditional customs, social highs and lows, and distinctive way of life have always deeply impressed me,' he said. As a proud Bihari, Kumar aims to contribute to creating an environment that attracts filmmakers to the state, showcasing its rich heritage.

With a career that began in VFX and continued through various films and web series, including 'Mridang', 'Bullet Pen', and 'Secrets of Love', Kumar is optimistic about the future of filmmaking in Bihar. 'With the government's subsidy plans and increased awareness, I believe that the situation for shooting in Bihar will improve, making it a preferred destination for filmmakers,' he remarked.
