The UP Warriorz, a dynamic women's cricket team, recently visited Lucknow to champion inclusivity in sports. The team was joined by actors Ali Fazal and Shweta Tripathi Sharma, alongside vice-captain Deepti Sharma, and players Saima Thakor and Anjali Sarvani. Their mission: to inspire the younger generation and encourage more women to embrace sports.

Over a span of 72 hours, the contingent engaged with 6,500 students from La Martiniere Girls' College, Lal Bahadur Shastri Girls College of Management, Era University, Integral University, and Amity University. They discussed topics including women in cricket, women's empowerment, and the significance of inclusivity, as revealed by UPW's press release.

Deepti Sharma expressed her heartfelt connection with the visit, finding it a heart-warming experience. The students' enthusiasm was noted by Saima Thakor, who emphasized the long-term relationship with Lucknow that this initiative could foster. Jinisha Sharma, Director of Capri Sports, highlighted the goal to ignite ambition among Lucknow's youth, showcasing the potential of dedication and passion in achieving great things.
