Early Sunday, ten bogies of the Dhanbad-bound Ganga Sutlej Express train became uncoupled near Chakraj Mal, officials confirmed. Fortunately, no passengers were injured in the incident.

Additional Superintendent of Police Dharam Singh Marchal informed reporters that a technical problem caused some of the bogies to decouple from the engine and other sections at around 4 a.m.

Railway officials stated that the issue occurred when the coupling between two sleeper coaches separated. They quickly resolved the problem, allowing the Ferozepur-Dhanbad train to proceed to its destination. Over 200 Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment exam candidates traveling on the train were provided alternative transport via three buses to reach their exam centers.
