The Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment exam concluded successfully at 1,174 centres across 67 districts on the final day of a five-day exercise.
Senior district administrative officials conducted inspections to ensure all arrangements were in place, while tight security measures were implemented to guarantee a fair examination process, officials confirmed.
Organized by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), the exam was held in two shifts on August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31. This recruitment drive, aiming to fill over 60,000 posts, was necessitated after the cancellation of the February exams due to a paper leak scandal.
Meanwhile, the UP State Transport Corporation offered free bus services to candidates, including electric bus travel in multiple districts, making transit easier for participants.
