Power & Instrumentation Secures Rs 28.41 Cr Contracts for Jharkhand Electrification

Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited has secured contracts worth Rs 28.41 Cr under the Mukhyamantri Ujjawal Jharkhand Yojana. The projects aim to electrify un-electrified and partially electrified habitations in Sahibganj District, Jharkhand, enhancing living standards through improved infrastructure.

Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited (NSE - PIGL, BSE - 543912), a leader in the electrical contracting and equipment industry, has been awarded contracts totaling Rs 28.41 Cr under the Mukhyamantri Ujjawal Jharkhand Yojana. The initiative aims to electrify un-electrified and partially electrified habitations and households in Sahibganj District, Jharkhand.

The contracts are divided into two parts. Under Part I, valued at Rs 22.92 Cr, the company will manage the loading, transportation, installation, and commissioning of the necessary electrification infrastructure. The goal is to ensure reliable electricity for rural habitations with fewer and more than 10 households, as well as urban areas.

Part II, worth Rs 5.49 Cr, involves a comprehensive range of activities including site survey, planning, design, engineering, assembly, manufacturing, testing, and the supply of essential materials. These projects aim to bolster electrification in both rural and urban sectors of Sahibganj District, aligning with the Mukhyamantri Ujjawal Jharkhand Yojana's objectives to enhance living standards through improved infrastructure.

PIGL, which has a proven track record of successfully executing contracts valued at over Rs 100 Cr, brings extensive experience and expertise to these new projects.
