Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday hailed the Union Budget, describing it as a 'public welfare budget' poised to actualize 'Ram Rajya'. He highlighted the budget's focus on the prosperity of farmers, with Rs 1.52 lakh crore allocated for agriculture and related sectors, and over Rs 3 lakh crore for women empowerment.

Adityanath emphasized that Uttar Pradesh would significantly benefit, citing the successful implementation of the 'Mission Shakti' program since 2020. He noted that the budget aligns with the aspirational goals of 140 crore Indians, encapsulating the spirit of 'Amritkaal'.

However, BSP chief Mayawati criticized the budget as disappointing for the poor, unemployed, and marginalized communities, arguing it lacks the necessary reforms to uplift these sections. Meanwhile, RLD state spokesperson Ankur Saxena welcomed the budget for its potential to trigger economic growth and benefit every section of society.
